The kitchen design by Robert Stilin in close collaboration with Ina Garten was meant to replicate Inas East Hampton kitchen for House Beautifuls Kitchen Of The Year 2009. He was the Design Director for the 2005 Hamptons Cottages Gardens Idea House in Bridgehampton and has also participated in the House and Garden Hampton Designer Showhouse The French Designer Showhouse The Traditional Home Built for Woman Showhouse and The Palm Beach.

House Beautiful was sweet enough to invite me to the launch party for their Kitchen of the Year with the Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten at Rockefeller Center Monday night. By 2010 Jeff was chosen to design the House Beautiful Magazine Kitchen of the Year displayed at Rockefeller Center in New York. Matthew is the recipient of numerous national design awards and this kitchen is state of the art cutting edge design. I went to the Kitchen of the Year Friday before it was open and it was really fun but being able to be at the party is another thing altogether.

The kitchen of the year can be viewed at Rockefeller Center you cant miss it until July 24. Your so lucky to have gone to the party. OK 50 is a liiiittle bit of an overstatement considering many of the ideas are product placements from the House Beautiful Kitchen of the Year that was on display in Rockefeller Center.

The kitchen is so beautiful and it was so amazing that it was built right in. After renovating his own properties for 20 years Jeff launched his design firm in 2009. Instead of using bead board as she did in the rest of the house she left the boards open and added old-fashioned fixtures.
